Personality

Hatchan is a complex character whose personality undergoes noticeable shifts throughout the series. Initially portrayed as somewhat dim-witted and easily misled, he demonstrates a surprising loyalty to his crewmates, particularly Arlong, despite not fully subscribing to their hatred of humans.
