Description
Personality
Kuroobi is a strict and cruel member of the Arlong Pirates, harboring a deep distrust of humans, mirroring his captain's prejudice. Unlike Arlong, however, he shows no particular interest in Nami, instead viewing her with suspicion and actively searching for evidence against her. He is unforgiving and readily resorts to violence, as seen in his attack on Genzo. Despite his cruelty, he does acknowledge and respect strength in others, though he uses any advantage he can find in battle, even resorting to underhanded tactics. His laughter, "Kuhahahahaha," reflects his harsh and unforgiving nature. Kuroobi's personality is a blend of unwavering loyalty to his captain and a ruthless pragmatism. He is willing to use any means necessary to achieve his goals, showing little regard for the well-being of others. His interactions with Sanji highlight this duality; while acknowledging Sanji's strength, he mocks his chivalry and attempts to exploit his weaknesses. This ultimately leads to his defeat, showcasing a flaw in his otherwise calculating demeanor.
Abilities
Kuroobi possesses enhanced strength and combat prowess typical of a fish-man. His primary fighting style is Fish-Man Karate, in which he holds a 40th level black belt ranking. This grants him considerable skill and power, allowing him to inflict significant damage. He also demonstrates proficiency with a sword, as seen when he swiftly wounded Genzo. While his ultimate technique, Senmaigawara Seiken, remains unseen in action, his Fish-Man Karate provides him a significant advantage underwater, enhancing his strength and endurance.
