Personality

Ryuboshi is a jovial and upbeat prince of the Ryugu Kingdom, known for his cheerful disposition and habit of adding musical scales ("so-la-ti-do") to the ends of his sentences. He shares a playful bond with his brother Manboshi, often engaging in dance, a habit born from their efforts to comfort their sister Shirahoshi. Despite his lighthearted nature, Ryuboshi displays seriousness and determination when necessary, readily drawing his swords to defend his family and kingdom. He is fiercely loyal and protective of his siblings, particularly Shirahoshi, demonstrating a deep sense of responsibility and familial devotion. While generally optimistic, Ryuboshi is not naive; he shows concern for his family's safety and the well-being of Fish-Man Island, reacting with worry to threats and predictions of disaster. His actions throughout the Fish-Man Island arc highlight his bravery and willingness to fight for what he believes in, even against overwhelming odds.
