Natsume's Book of Friends Season 2

Overview

Zoku Natsume Yuujinchou continues the story of Takashi Natsume, a teenager capable of seeing supernatural beings called youkai. He inherits a mysterious book from his grandmother, Reiko, which contains the names of numerous youkai. By returning the names to these youkai, Natsume releases them from their servitude to Reiko. This season focuses on Natsume's continuing efforts to help the youkai he encounters, further unraveling the mysteries surrounding the Book of Friends and his family's legacy. Alongside his familiar, the powerful yet mischievous Madara (who often takes the form of a large cat), Natsume navigates the complexities of the human and youkai worlds, forming new bonds and deepening existing relationships with various human and youkai characters. He builds upon his experiences from the previous season, growing in understanding and compassion as he learns to reconcile his own identity with his unique abilities and inherited responsibility.
