EPISODE CONTEXT
Coming off Episode 6, which continued cementing Hayate's role and dynamic within the Sanzenin household, Episode 7 expands the supporting cast by properly introducing Wataru as a recurring rival figure. This is still early-season territory — seven episodes into a 52-episode run — so the show is actively building out its ensemble and laying interpersonal groundwork. The Hayate-Wataru-Isumi triangle established here will factor into character dynamics further down the season.
