Steins;Gate

Overview

Steins;Gate anime series follows Rintaro Okabe, a self-proclaimed mad scientist, his childhood friend Mayuri Shiina, and a hacker named Itaru Hashida. Their experiments with a modified microwave oven lead to the discovery of time travel capabilities. They use this technology to send messages to the past, called D-Mails, but this seemingly simple act triggers significant and complex changes to their reality. As Okabe and his friends continue to experiment, they become embroiled in a larger conspiracy involving the organization SERN and the implications of changing the past. Their endeavors result in paradoxes and the need to make difficult choices, ultimately leading to the question of whether it's possible to successfully alter the past without causing devastating repercussions. The story unfolds as they navigate the dangerous ramifications of their actions, facing unexpected challenges and moral dilemmas as they race against time. The anime closely follows the plot of the True Ending of the original visual novel.
