Overview

The movie begins with the disappearance of ninja possessing kekkei genkai abilities from various hidden villages. Team Kakashi is tasked with investigating, leading them to Mount Shumisen. They encounter a mysterious ninja, Hiruko, who has already absorbed multiple kekkei genkai using a forbidden technique known as the Chimera Technique. Hiruko plans to absorb a final kekkei genkai to achieve immortality and trigger a Fourth Shinobi World War, framing Konohagakure in the process. This creates an international crisis as other nations prepare for invasion, and the Fire Daimyō threatens to destroy Konoha if they can't prove their innocence. Naruto, defying orders, is determined to save his comrades, particularly Kakashi who is affected by a puppet curse placed on him by Hiruko. The Konoha 11 work together to reach Hiruko, facing off against his followers and their chimera creatures along the way. They use their various skills and strategies to overcome Hiruko's powerful abilities. The climactic battle at Mount Shumisen sees Hiruko's true intentions, motivations and past revealed. The film culminates in a fierce showdown between Naruto, Kakashi, and Hiruko and his powerful chimeras, ending with the defeat of Hiruko and the prevention of the war. Afterwards, Naruto, Kakashi, and the others are praised for their actions. The film explores themes of friendship, loyalty, and the will of fire, showcasing the teamwork and determination of Naruto and his comrades.
