Bro, Lloyd is really fearless! Well, what was I even expecting? That’s Lloyd, LOL. Craftsmanship-wise, I’m totally loving it. Setting aside the visuals, the music is just as fantastic. That said, I can’t help but laugh at some of the “sus” scenes.
I Was Reincarnated as the 7th Prince so I Can Take My Time Perfecting My Magical Ability Season 2
Oshimeter
Synopsis
In your typical isekai, the reincarnated hero immediately starts grinding toward some big goal — defeat the demon lord, save the kingdom, whatever. Lloyd de Saloum just wants to study magic. All of it. Every kind. He was a commoner in his past life who never had the talent, and now that he's been reborn as the seventh prince with bottomless mana and zero obligations to the throne, he's basically treating his new life like an all-you-can-eat buffet of spellcraft. Season one had him diving into demonic magic. This second season picks up with Lloyd turning his attention to divine magic, which means getting involved with the Church. Problem is, the divine beings running things aren't thrilled about a kid who reeks of unholy power showing up and asking to learn their secrets. They pretty much see him as a demon in prince's clothing. The tone here stays surprisingly light despite that setup — there's a nice rhythm between cozy slice-of-life moments and genuinely solid magical battles, and the world-building around different magic systems has more depth than you'd expect from the premise. If you enjoyed the magic-nerd energy of Mushoku Tensei or the aristocratic reincarnation angle of The World's Finest Assassin, this hits a similar sweet spot but leans more relaxed and curiosity-driven. It's 12 episodes, so it doesn't overstay its welcome. A good pick if you want isekai that's more about the joy of learning than the pressure of saving the world.
