Some extra funny visual gags. Quite educational, not only for the gym techniques but also for which muscles you usually use and how to use protein shakes. I also just remembered that this is where I learned you have to stretch after exercise, not before, lol.

Quick Takes
View all 10 takesThe anime knows how to use its visual gags at their best, with surprisingly good animation for those scenes. It is basically an excuse to show fanservice while also providing a good way to learn gym techniques. It’s a nice watch, especially if you want to follow along.
This ep is a total gym motivation injection and the fanservice is dialed all the way up. We finally get the technique breakdowns and character depth needed to understand Akemi’s straight-up obsession with muscles. Even if the bicep curl explanations felt a bit mid and the pacing dragged during the diet talk, Machio’s muscle flexing is fire.
