Overview

Dandadan follows Momo Ayase, a high school student from a family of spirit mediums, and her classmate Okarun, an occult enthusiast. Momo believes in ghosts but denies the existence of aliens, while Okarun believes in aliens but denies ghosts. To settle their argument and prove each other wrong, they embark on separate investigations. Momo visits an abandoned hospital known for UFO sightings, and Okarun explores a haunted tunnel. Their investigations unexpectedly lead them to confront overwhelming paranormal activity that challenges their beliefs. In the process, Momo awakens her latent abilities, and Okarun gains the power of a curse, forcing them to confront these paranormal forces together. This thrilling and comedic journey blends elements of the occult, science fiction, action, and romance as Momo and Okarun's unlikely partnership blossoms amid their supernatural battles.
